Universal AirTag competitor works with Apple Find My and Google Find Hub at just €14.90.
Xiaomi has finally entered the Bluetooth tracker market with the Xiaomi Tag, a universal item finder that works with both Apple's Find My network and Google's Find Hub. Priced at just €14.90 for a single unit or €49.99 for a four-pack, it undercuts Apple's AirTag significantly while offering broader compatibility.
The Xiaomi Tag weighs only 10 grams and features a compact design with a built-in speaker for locating items via sound. It runs on a CR2032 button cell battery that lasts over a year. The tag is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance, so you can attach it to keys, bags, or pets without worry.
What sets the Xiaomi Tag apart is its cross-platform compatibility. Unlike AirTag (Apple only) or Samsung SmartTag (Samsung only), the Xiaomi Tag works with both iOS and Android. Simply pair it with the Xiaomi Find app, and it automatically appears in Apple's Find My app and Google Find Hub — meaning you get the benefit of millions of potential nearby devices to help locate your items.
The setup process is straightforward: scan the QR code on the tag, pair via Bluetooth, and you're ready. You can view the tag's location on a map, play a sound to find it nearby, or enable Lost Mode to get notified when it's detected by any compatible device.
At €14.90, it's an incredible value for a universal tracker. The only downside is you need the Xiaomi Find app as a companion, though the integration with Apple and Google systems means you can also use their native apps for basic tracking.
If you've wanted an item tracker but were locked out by platform exclusivity, the Xiaomi Tag is the answer.
